The Rapai Gallery is a unique urban art gallery. The gallery’s owner, Patrick has always wanted a space to display his artwork and collaborate with other well known South African artists and so the Rapai Art Gallery was born. The space was previously an old industrial space that was occupied by an engineering works. The space is authentic with double volume height with concrete flooring which has been painted. The contrast between the white walls and the black floor makes the artworks pop. The IBR sheeted roof is held up by steel struts. The space is approximately 50 square metres and boasts contemporary artwork from the gallery’s owners and other South African artists. The space is real, raw and proudly South African.
